People posing as if they’ve just fallen down among their belongings - hilarious!

This satirical photo series called “In Extremis (Bodies With No Regret)” was created by photographer Sandro Giordano. It portrays unfortunate people the moment after they fell, having spilled all their material possessions around them.

Other than the obvious silliness, there is a serious message about materialism behind this project. Great idea and nicely executed.

"Each shot ‘tells’ about worn out characters who, as if a sudden black-out of mind and body took over, let themselves crash with no attempt to save themselves, unable, because of the fatigue of the everyday ‘representation’ of living, oppressed by ‘appearance’ instead of simply ‘existing."
